OUR HIKES & CAMP
Hike & camp initiation
You're dreaming of a nature getaway, of a night stargazing, of enjoying simple things of life, but you have a busy schedule ? Then this mini adventure is for you !
Starting from the village of Saint Martin Lys in the middle of the afternoon (around 4 pm), we will take off for a nice 2 hours hike, with everything in our backpacks to be in autonomy (tents, water, food...). Once at the summit a clearing with a wonderful view on Axat valley is inviting us to set up the camp and enjoy the evening. The next morning we will walk back down to the village (arrival around 10-11 am), delighted with this great experience !
This mini adventure is open to all and offers many possibilities, we adapt to your wishes : spend the evening with your friends or family, take a break, meditate, learn about hiking & camping (how to pack your bag, set up your tent, cook, read an IGN map...), discover the local plants, watch the vultures, enjoy the sunset, build a shelter, look at the stars...
Price includes :
– A qualified hiking guide with you
– The camping gear hire (2 persons tent, sleeping bag, mattress, cooking equipment)
Price does not include :
– Your personal gear (big backpack, hiking outfit, warm outfit for the evening, lamp...)
– The dinner and breakfast, bring what you wanna eat (possibility to cook thanks to an alcohol stove and a mini barbecue)

NECESSARY GEAR
– Good hiking shoes
– Hiking outfit adapted to weather conditions (waterproof and windproof clothing, cap...)
– Warm outfit for the evening
– Big backpack able to contain all the gear
– Food (dinner and breakfast) and enough water to drink and cook
– Headlamp or flashlight
* This is a non-exhaustive list and you will probably need some other small things (toothbrush...), don't worry about it we will look at it together.

– Walk : 16 €
– Half day hike : 22 €
– Full day hike : 40 €
– Hike & camp initiation : 50 €*
– Hike & camp (2 days / 1 night) : 100 €*
* The camping gear hire is included.
** Family rate (2 adults + 2 kids) : 10% discount

GENERAL INFORMATION
You can use our contact form to ask for a booking (minimum 24h before the beginning of the service you want).
A minimum of 2 persons is required to book a hike.
The payement takes place on site (no online payement). Accepted means of paiement : credit card, bank transfer, cash.
Cathar Rando can accept or not your booking request, cancel or modify a service (bad weather conditions...). To learn more, visit our Terms and conditions available in the footer.
The hikes shown on the website are only a small glimpse of all the possibilities offered by the region ! If you would like to go on another hike, don't hesitate to contact us.
